    • The top three reasons I have been able to do this are (1) relationship building, (2) relationship building and (3) relationship building.
    • Persuaded several distributors to purchase our software and install it in their own offices. Accomplished by identifying the most saleable features of the application and demonstrating its superiority over that of our competition. More important, I identified the primary needs of our distributors and demonstrated incontrovertibly that our product best met their needs.
    • Sales started to take off when distributors actually used our application and reaped the benefits. Having done so, it was easy for them to successfully sell the product.


  • Was selected from among 8 peers to serve as Acting North American Channel Manager in his absence. In addition, he asked me to do a presentation to his entire sales team, explaining how I had increased our sales. My colleagues were sold; they adopted many of my techniques, with positive results.

Worked in telecom sales for Bell Canada and Delphi Solutions during the preceeding five years. Earned several successive promotions in recognition of demonstrated ability to consistently increase profit. Achieved highest service contract sales in Canada, 1998 and 1999. Elected chairperson, Advisory Committee that included Delphi's President.

At Bell, my expertise was tapped by senior management to lead focus group that acquired valuable information on customer concerns. Our suggestions were approved by management and subsequently implemented. My participation in this project established my ability to work effectively and efficiently as a team leader.
